10 years of Rock in Rio

Rock in Rio is an unprecedented success story in Portugal Lift is responsible for overall communication of the event in Portugal and has also worked the editions in Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Las Vegas, with a fully allocated team to this project.

The challenge for the 2014 edition was to communicate the 10th anniversary of Rock in Rio Lisboa and to break records in terms of number of spectators, media coverage and return on investment. The challenge has been largely overcome!

Rock in Rio is the festival with better media performance return, having achieved, in a total of 10 years of its presence in Portugal, the publication of more than 39,000 news which correspond to €130,212,558.67 ROI.

In the 2014 edition, Rock in Rio exceeded 2,000,000 people who passed the Rock City gates in 10 years, which shows the scale of what is considered by many the greatest music and entertainment event in the world.

Roberto Medina, founder of the event, evaluated the presence of Rock in Rio in Portugal over 10 years, emphasizing that all the work done served as a matrix "for an extraordinary global event," exportable to Spain and the United States.
