Arco Lisboa

It was the first time ARCO left Madrid and Wisdom Consulting was chosen to ensure the communication of the event in Lisbon. The first edition of the art fair in Lisbon took place in Cordoaria Nacional and had the participation of 44 galleries.

ARCOlisboa is organized by IFEMA, represented in Portugal by Café Pessoa, and supported by Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Lisbon, Tourism of Portugal and the Spanish Embassy in Portugal.

Wisdom Consulting organized the presentation conference held at the Teatro S.Luiz in Lisbon and promoted the event, ensuring a strong influx of visitors and a strong media coverage both in preparation and during the event.

The five-day event was attended by close to 13,000 visitors and and it was assured the second edition in 2017. There were close to 200 accreditations of journalists, over 300 reports, with a ROI of about 2 million and 500 thousand euros.

The first international edition of ARCO, was very well received by the Portuguese institutions, deserving the visit of the President, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, the Secretary of State for Culture, Miguel Honrado and the Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, among other entities and personalities of the country.
